It happened on the 6100 block of Palomino Drive in Hopewell Farms South, police wrote in a release. The flyers "contained anti-Semitic propaganda" and were weighed down in plastic bags filled with dried corn kernels, authorities said.
Police did not describe the messaging in detail.
In a statement, the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley called the incident "disturbing."
"Antisemitic flyers were distributed by the Goyim Defense League (GDL) in a neighborhood within the Parkland School District," the Federation said.
The so-called GDL is a "loose network of individuals" that "engages in antisemitic stunts and schemes" online and otherwise, says the Anti-Defamation League. Police have not named the group in connection with the flyers.
"Local law enforcement (...) confirmed that no specific credible threat has been identified at this time," JFLV said.
Upper Macungie police said the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Adam Miller at 484-661-5911 or email amiller@uppermac-pd.org.
